I would not necessarily follow the structure of the book that is historical and chronological but rather organize it this way (from simpler to more complex):

• polynomial (without distinguishing Muensch, Griffith and Grenfell since these models are essentially generalizations of the same thing)
• fractional polynomial
• other non-linear models
