For the Weibull model you mention that the time unit is the exposure time, but this does not always have to the case right? My understanding from page 96 is that it is the case for the specific example given in chapter 4 right? Maybe good to check Becker (1989), Diamond and McDonald (1992), and Keiding et al. (1996) on this point.
