VSC using Webpack saying

In Visual Studio Code I'm using webpack for my project and as you can see in the screenshot below it's not working. The error on the TextInput is:

Property 'TextInput' does not exist on type 'typeof PIXI'.

Am I doing something wrong?

you need to import like this
import { TextInput } from "pixi-textinput-v5"
