Ensuring a vision-aligned evolution of the Protocol Workbench, all upcoming capabilities are classified into the following:

Workbench Essentials

These directly align with the foundational vision of the Workbench as the go-to development facilitation framework for ONDC integrations. Focus is on expanding protocol experience support, automation and configurability to simplify implementation.

Developer Experience (DX) Enhancements

These aim to enhance the usability and intuitiveness of the tool by enabling users to interact with and better understand protocol behavior. Geared towards improving experiencing the workings of various parts in the network, developer productivity and debugging efficiency.

Contextual Tooling

These are domain-specific tooling or validation layers that support the implementation of specific ONDC domains. These features ensure that the Workbench can scale with domain expansion and use-case specific nuances.
