After a flake update today, nixos unstable, every time I start neovim I get the prompt to download spell file. How do I address this? I look in release notes, FAQ, etc....

@dwilliam62 I tested your configuration and was able to run the 
I ran your configuration as a standalone nvf config. I'm not sure if there are differences that are relevant here if it's run as an home manager module. |

I suspect one could write an autocmd or similar and there might be a way to check whether it needs to run at all. But given that you only need to do this once, I don't think it's worth the effort to generalise. @NotAShelf also mentioned that he's planning to replace the plugin with something else in the future, which makes further improvements here less of a priority. |

I'm planning to add a config (and a config option) that decides whether to install grammars automagically without user input. It'd be a nice addition to nvf as a module option. Side note, I've started rewriting the plugin. A Lua port is done, but I'll finish it when I'm less swamped at work. |

Thank you all for replying. I look forward to the re-write or update @lackac I work on a couple of NixOS projects with Hyprland so for my testing I have to build NixOS repeatedly. So for me it's not a one time thing. Not a complaint, just an FYI: NVF is amazing |
