Pretty much:

• fix the build instructions, especially moving dependencies to live hosted directly in this repo as opposed to a filehost link. Improves security.
• write up (or port if there exists on the external wiki already) contribution instructions to this repo directly (for us who live in git repos).

Oh I see, we removed them in ee1d724. Is there a reason why? If it's to lightweight-ise the repo, it's possible to have them pulled automatically in the build process. Or we could just, host the compressed archive and then decomp during build, again. Is it due to some other reason?

Hi,

Sorting out externals has been on my TODO list for a long time, just never really got around to doing it.
The baked in externals were removed to trim down the repo and to avoid multiple libs with different licensing requirements being hosted in a repo thats supposed to be MIT licensed (hence violating requirements on the externals).

One of the externals (namely the Noesis SDK) is not in any public repo and needs to be downloaded manually from the Noesis site (it requires you to accept the Noesis indie license terms), so sadly a manual step will be unavoidable, but I'll see what I can do for the rest.
