- when clicking an edge, it should be selected - when clicking a node, it should be selected - when holding shift while clicking more edges or nodes they should be selected or deselected - when deleting or moving while multiple nodes are selected, the corresponding action should be applied to all selected nodes - when deleting while multiple eges are selected, the corresponding action should bne applied to all selected edges - users should only be able to select nodes or edges but not both simultaneously - "x" and "del" should be added as a hotkeys for deletion (aside from "backspace")
