Possible FP with ACL Allow Write Entries section #14
Description
Ran this tool in the env and it reported a bunch of hosts under ACL Allow Write Entries section section. What I have noticed is that as per your report you should be able to write, but when you try to active write, it does not allow you to. Upon further investigation all the share where I was not able to write have the below permissions.
BUILTIN\Users:(I)(CI)(WD)
BUILTIN\Users:(I)(CI)(AD)
Where I am able to write it has the below.
BUILTIN\Users:(CI)(S,WD,AD)
In windows In case of conflicts or inconsistencies between share permissions and NTFS permissions, the more restrictive permissions typically take precedence. May be related to #7
