Description
Summary
This would be a way to learn about principles and issues in the DEIJ space that we might not be familiar with so we can bring them to our work and the NCEAS community.
Starting Tasks
- Check out the Benioff Lab DEIJ reading group
- Identify topcis for a potential reading group
- Decide on the logistics (frequency, time, coordination, asynchronous option, etc.)
- Assess interest in the group (probably necessary for frequency and timing)
- Set a first date and reading item
Other notes
- This could turn into a "best of the year" type blurb that goes in the newsletter or on NCEAS's linkedin or social media
- remember the education resources that Casey put together
- share out info at coffee klatch
