Validate UCoMP data onsite and anticipate data transfer to the end of observing day #15
Description
Currently UCoMP data are transferred at 7PM Hawaii time (11PM MT). We would like to:
- Anticipate the transfer to the end of the observing day
- Add a validation to compare data on the instrument computer with the ones on kodiak and dawn to make sure all data are transferred
The machine log is created on the UCoMP window instrument computer and we noticed sometimes the last file of the day is not listed with the proper size (it is smaller) which makes the pipeline level 0 validation fail. This can happen if the observing code was left running. We also had occurrences in the past when data were not transferred. The goal is to make the transfer process more robust.
