ESMF grid descriptor files for spectral-element refined grids do not have refinement factor variable #48
Description
/glade/p/cesmdata/inputdata/share/meshes/ne0ARCTICGRISne30x8_ESMFmesh_c20200730.nc
does not have refinement factor variable!
Note: in ESMF format we have unofficially decided that the refinement variable is named elementRefinementRatio
(this is what is used on the MPAS regional refinement grid descriptor files)
Note that the SCRIP version in the CAM coords directory does have refinement factor variable (rrfac):
