Wi-Fi Hotspot not working on Android 16

The Wi-Fi Hotspot cannot be toggled "ON" after the Android 16 update. A temporary Hotspot can be used.

In Android 16, the ability to use reflection with ConnectivityManager to directly enable hotspot mode has been removed. This change is part of Google’s ongoing effort to restrict non-SDK interface usage and improve system security. Developers who previously relied on reflection-based approaches to start Wi-Fi hotspots must now migrate to the official TetheringManager API. The TetheringManager class provides legitimate methods for tethering operations, including  startTethering()  and  stopTethering() , which offer a supported and stable way to manage hotspot functionality. This transition requires apps to declare proper permissions and follow the standard Android API guidelines, ensuring better compatibility and reducing the risk of breaking changes in future Android versions.
