Tasker Plugin doesn't seem to function

I just want to setup a profile if the VPN disconnects it'll automatically stop WiFi hotspot. I could use another method just by freezing the application I'm pretty sure but I just wanted to clarify if the feature is supposed to be functional on the latest release. I am using the non Google Play licensed version of Tasker and have it set as a system privileged app as well because I get an error saying "requires tethering privileged" and I always set VPN hotspot as a privileged app. I also don't use use any module to do so. I have read/write access and the proper xml for both apps and all permissions are granted for both. It's fine if it doesn't work because, like I said, I can use another method but was curious if it was supposed to be functional?

Not from the plugin and I haven't looked into much more. Perhaps using Taskers VPN connected state (inverse) to kill VPN hotspot when the profile becomes inactive would be sufficient.

I want to automatically open the VPN hotspot when the VPN connected. If this tasker plugin doesn't work, I don't know what to do. How do you realize it?
