Use Actions #5

@Muxas

Description

@Muxas

One can always control a workflow with run: field with a sequence of commands to execute. To check if the latest commit to the repository did not break build and tests one has to grab the repository with git pull and then git checkout to the commit to be tested. Such a sequence of commands is common, so to reduce amount of typing it is possible to use certain predefined actions. Such predefined actions can be executed by properly setting uses: field instead of run: field.

The most common pattern is to checkout some repository into the environment, which can be done with help of actions/checkout@v3. Such an action can get certain variables with help of with: field. Please take a look at the documentation of actions/checkout@v3. It is possible to checkout several repositories into the environment.

Checkout your current repository and some other available (possibly mock) repository into the environment.
