After the update, the tokenizer does not work for the players.

I see you actually mentioned turning on file browse permissions. Is this a new requirement for the module? I remember only needing the players to have upload permissions and it used to work fine.

It might be that Foundry has changed or adjusted role permissions for certain activities. Certainly I think the ability to browse the file system has been required for things like ring selection for some considerable time.

I have managed to get it to work with local folders that the players have full visibility to up the tree. AWS folders or local ones without full visibility (i.e. can't hide in foundry file browser) both break it. In the case of AWS, it seems to be because the bucket isn't being set.

This might be more of a Foundry permissions issue, might be worth seeing on the Foundry discord what permissions are needed for users to browse/upload to s3 buckets.

Was having a similar issue when I figured out that at some point one of the higher up folders had been toggled to hidden (Which causes every folder under it and any folders in those folders all the way down to also become hidden) which would deny anyone bellow DM level access regardless of permission settings. Once I unhid the folder players had permissions again, otherwise I needed to give them at least Assistant DM level to let them use tokenizer.
