Allow the home page to accept url query parameters

I want to be able to email a url of my search
So that I can share it with other users

A search url permalink type functionality. Maybe with a "share this search" option and give email, twitter, facebook etc?

yeah, exactly something like that, someone suggested it to me on the weekend, and I reckon it's a great idea

Maybe instead of putting all the search parameters on the querystring, how about saving the search in ravendb and then keeping the querystring small (to aid with social media url length restrictions). The the query can be looked up by id (random letters, numbers) and executed.

Development progress; the server side code is done. The js is being refactored quite hard to allow for separation of functionality as well as location injection from the initial search parameters. It's coming a long :-)
