Not working with Angular 8

I have updated the cli samples to angular 8 and with Angular 8 i am getting error window["extapp"] is undefined in sLoader.

I've also upgraded to Angular 8 and I'm getting the same issue. Looks like there have been major changes to webpack dev server between 7-8 now that is it no longer it's own npm package.

Anybody managed to get it working with Angular 8?
