PeRPO follows the group-relative optimization design proposed in GRPO for the RL training loop.
Under our unified generative multimodal reasoning paradigm, vanilla GRPO lacks effective control for functional image generation during RL training. We therefore introduce a perception reward to calibrate the final reward, helping the model produce better interleaved multimodal reasoning chains.
