Model mechanical ventilation with heat recovery in the new LBT version #153

Hi!
I built a simple model of 3 empty rooms and I want to add mechanical ventilation with heat recovery in 2 of them, given an efficiency of the recuperator of 0.8, a setpoint temperaure of 21 degrees for both rooms and the outdoor air temperaure as the input themerature. Each room has its program type with infiltration set to zero and ventilation set to a specific value.
To add MVHR, I did exactely what you suggested in the old post, but I have some doubts:
- I don’t understant why if I set the ventilation in the program type equal to zero the mechanical ventilation doesn’t work, even if the MinOAFlowRate is different from zero.
- I saw if I change the value of OAFlowRate (sizing parameter), setting it to a number greater than the ventilation of the program type, the results change significally, but I don’t understand the role of this parameter. Does it overwrite the value of the ventilation in the program type?
I installed the newest version of LBT (1.9.16), HB and IB through Pollination. I have OpenStudio 3.9.0 and Energyplus 24.2.0. In attached I shared my model. Thank you in advance!
