Question about FerriteCore

Since nobody has asked this in the GitHub repository; is FerriteCore considered an legal mod in terms of optimization or a no-no?

I have checked this mod myself and it does not depend on Fabric API at all and therefore simply wanted to find an answer on why this is not listed in the official whitelist. Also in case this needs an basic explanation on what it does: This mod reduces the heap size to save memory usage though this depends on what is present in the end-user's pack.

it's never been legal because it was found to not provide a significant benefit in performance in the past, however after seedqueue was legalized it was being looked at again alongside other ram optimizations. that work is still ongoing by contaria, I'm not sure if there's any consensus on if it's worth legalizing yet though.
