urbackup permission error after upgrading to Trixie, unable to run backups

Steps to reproduce

log into urbackup after installing trixie

Expected behaviour

Computters should backup to the server

Actual behaviour

Computers are unable to save/update backups

I ran this command and still no luck: chown -R urbackup:urbackup /mnt/dietpi_userdata/urbackup

Checking and unchecking these did not change anything:

@MichaIng so i fixed it by manually creating the urbackup/tmp folder and applying the same permissions chown -R urbackup:urbackup /mnt/dietpi_userdata/urbackup/tmp

not sure why it didn't have permissions to make the folder in the first place.

Thanks for the report. Is /mnt/dietpi_userdata/urbackup itself owned by urbackup user? We set a debconf value which the package should take to setup the backup dir with proper permissions, but maybe something has changed with a recent version, or is different with the package from the APT repo.

I'll run some tests tomorrow as well, to fix it for upcoming release, or add some failsafe step to our install code.

@MichaIng I found the issue, I didn't notice that it changed the save location from /mnt/MyBook/dietpi_userdata/urbackup to /mnt/dietpi_userdata/urbackup during the reinstall. I found out when I got an error this morning that my disk was full which was not normal.

@MichaIng I guess i was wrong, i did get it to point back top my original backups but im getting the same permission error, i tried to apply chown -R urbackup:urbackup /mnt/MyBook/dietpi_userdata/urbackup to give permissions to the whole folder but it stills says it has no access.

Edit: So i dont know whats going on. i did a urbackupsrv cleanup --amount 0% and then a recalculate statistics and it started working.... Although it still has the error on the top.

Edit 2: Seems that the permissions on urbackup_tmp_files keeps getting reset. not sure why.

@MichaIng ok, hopefully i found the issue. it looks like the tmp file HAS to be located in the main dietpi_userdata folder (/mnt/dietpi_userdata/urbackup/tmp)

unless im still missing some kind of permissions as soon as i created that folder it worked again.
