Crash in Windows

when compressing multiple streams in parallel the whole JVM crashes.

May I ask you, how your code in multi-thread and single-thread scenario looks like?
Does it correlate to this known issue: #2 ?

I also would like to give some background info. I'm working on adopting new brotli v0.6.0 release, where the above mentioned crash is fixed.

I think you already updated to 0.5.2 and fix a memory leak but I think you did not release a version containing those. Would you like/appreciate some help?

of course, I always appreciate help 👍

This new 0.6.0 release seems very promising, because C-API is meant to be fixed.
This leads me to skip 0.5.2 and directly jump towards the newest release.
As I already looked into, there are quite a few changes, which probably will also introduce breaking changes for jBrotli - which I consider OK.
It's "just" more work than an ordinary "increase version + recompile + publish" move ;-)

I would love to see pull requests (also partially ones) or snippets to move forward.

I will have a look tomorrow. My plan is to try compile master locally and then open a branch for 0.6.0 release and start porting one step at a time.
