Typescript support

Typescript would be cool.

It should be a different branch, so people can choose between TS and vanilla.

It doesn't look like Github allows using the use this template button for branches, so you would have to create a fork or similar.

Also you can't create a pull request between a template and a templated repository via Github. I presume you could add the template as an origin and pull in a typescript branch?
