translate custom Links like /newyork to a defined position and zoom level #3

Hey,
I'm planing to implement a little addition to this library for one of my projects.The basic idea is to have a locations.json file that defines cities with a name, a postion and a zoom level and to use this file to translate URLs into permalinks.
This could be usefull for others. Maybe it could lead to a world.json file or country.json files.
I'm not sure jet how to implement this in detail, what are your thoughts about this?
