Failed uploading on Nano rp2040

Thanks for your example, however, I always get Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1 when trying to upload the code on Arduino Nano rp2040;
any Idea how that comes? I'm using Arduino IDE 2.1 on mac, uploading code e.g. other examples work without problems.

The one that immediately comes to mind is to make sure it’s not a charge-only USB cable. This catches me out more than I’d like to admit… Edit: although you just said other examples work. You can get your pico into a state where you can't upload, so you have to put it in the bootloader mode. Hold down the bootsel button on the pico when you plug the device in, and it will show up as a drive on your system. You might have to choose a different port in the arduino IDE, not sure, as I use platformIO with vscode and that is handled automatically.
