SystemUI Crash & SuperSU - CM11 Kitkat

I have found that when I am now using the latest CM11 Kitkat for the S3 Mini, if I install SuperSU from Recovery using TWRP, when I restart the phone the SystemUI becomes very unstable and crashes.  I hope this information may help resolve SystemUI crashes in CM11.  I find a faster response using SuperSU but for now have not been installing it.
