Reading Annotation files?

I can't seem to find support for reading edf annotation files, such as those accompanying the CHB-MIT Scalp EEG Database. They appear to be stored in the same encoding as regular .edf files but do not open by default with EDF4J. Is there any plan to add this function?

Unfortunately I cannot find any information about .edf.seizure file format. It differs from original edf file format. Do you have any information about where I can find the format specification?
