Control graph attributes from command line

Would it be possible to add command line options to control a few graphing attributes? I ususally limit my X axis and set things to linear  , would be cool if it was possible to have that from start and not always click around ... Also some scaling of the x axis labels would be cool to not have 0.0015A but 1.5mA
