Tech Tree System

I have been becoming in love with the tech tree featured in Kerbal Space Program and was wondering if anyone else would like to have a simple tech tree for people to work down. We would have them conduct "experiments" that would net them a certain "value". These "observations" would split into two different values, a science value which would be used in researching electricity, and magic, which would be used in creating more powerful artifacts. People would then have to explore the world to find unique places to study and observe

I really like the sounds of that, I don't really know too much about KSP but I could look into it? The problem would be if lets say User A didn't want to use a certain feature, unless we made it across all features? So if you found something in one feature you could use points in another? Not sure

You dont need to look into ksp, and i think it would be its own feature
which would change the crafting handler...
