FR: Adjust Preferences Scale for high-DPI screens

On a 3K laptop screen, while the toolbar is easy to use, the preferences dialog window and settings dropdown menu are quite small. It would be nice to be able to adjust these, if not already possible.

The original engine relies heavily on png files. Reworking the toolbar was relatively easy, but menus are much more complicated thing, mostly because of non-scalable fonts (it's also a single png file).

I have had several attempts, but none of them was stable enough to stay as an actual solution. So it's not impossible, it just requires a lot of research.

I appreciate the work you put in. I don't know anything about the underlying code, but if the menu is just pngs - is there a way to just double the size of all of them and deal with a much blurrier yet much larger set of menus/dialog boxes? Probably not, but having a partial solution might be nice for now.
