White screen between image changes

I'm using the RPi3 A+.
Sometimes there is a white screen flash, when the image or video changes.

I also have this issue. I guess its because of the reduced RAM compared to the rpi3b

I disabled the transition (set the value to 0) which removes the smove transition between images but also removes the flickering

thanks for the reply. I've suspected that it's due to low performance. Thanks for the tip. I'll try to set the fading to 0.
