PHP Fatal error: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from

I try to import/check my old Confixx user according to https://www.liveconfig.com/wiki/de/confixx2liveconfig

But it fails already during the check:

 PHP Fatal error:  SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from 'https://xxx:8443/liveconfig/soap?wsdl&l=admin&p=xxx' : failed to load external entity "https://xxx/liveconfig/soap?wsdl&l=admin&p=xxx"
 in /root/tools/cfximport.php on line 1271

I guess it is caused by the self signed SSL cert of LiveConfig. I could find any stream_context/ssl option in the cfximport.php script.

have you set a SOAP password for LiveConfig?

we migrated over a hundred servers and didn't encounter this error message - maybe we can help ;)

I fixed it. I added the stream_context.

I guess you had a proxy with a valid ssl cert in front of liveconfig or liveconfig was plain http when you did it. But a freshly installed liveconfig server has a self signed cert, which caused this error.

no, we used neither a proxy nor plain HTTP...
i'm also pretty sure we had self-signed certs on at least some of the servers...
