cursor occasionally jumps back after decimal

Steps to reproduce

1. Start typing a number with a decimal

Expected

• Number should appear as expected after typing

Actual

• The cursor occasionally jumps back a character after the decimal is typed

(edit: this is not v0.13 specific, i am experiencing this on v0.12 as well)
