Thank you for your interest in contributing to the RPS-eXtended Project (“the Project”), maintained by the Role Play Systems teams.
This Contributor License Agreement (“Agreement”) clarifies the terms under which you (the "Contributor") may contribute code, assets, documentation, or other materials (“Contributions”) to the Project.
By submitting a Contribution to this repository (including via pull request, issue comment, or other form of communication), you agree to the following terms:
You hereby grant Role Play Systems a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to:
- use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, sublicense, and create derivative works of your Contribution as part of the Project;
- relicense your Contribution under the Project's licensing terms (including open-source or proprietary licensing as applicable);
- include your Contribution in private or public builds, server-side infrastructure, or derivative forks operated by the maintainers of the Project.
You affirm that you have the legal right to grant this license.
If your Contribution is added to publicly accessible directories such as:
/Content.Server/_RPSX//Content.Client/_RPSX//Resources/Textures/_RPSX/- or other folders labeled with
_RPSX,RPSX,DS,DarkStation, or similar identifiers,
then it may be made available under the terms of the LICENSE-RPSX.md file in this repository.
However, the presence of such content in an open repository does not imply full open-source reusability. Reuse of these Contributions in other projects must comply with:
- proper attribution (Role Play Systems);
- public source availability;
- non-commercial usage unless explicitly permitted.
You warrant that:
- The Contribution is an original work and that you have the right to submit it;
- Your Contribution does not violate any existing intellectual property rights;
- You agree that your Contribution is intentionally provided to the Project maintainers.
Submitting a Contribution does not guarantee inclusion. Project maintainers reserve the right to use, modify, reject, or remove Contributions at their discretion.
You agree to follow the Project's Code of Conduct and security guidelines when submitting Contributions. You will not knowingly submit malicious code, spam, or unauthorized third-party content.
If you have questions about how your Contribution may be used, especially regarding monetization, reuse, or license boundaries, please contact:
