Shutting Servers Down

Due to people abusing the server hosting the data, I have shut down the servers that the app accesses.

If you are a programmer, you can host the scraper yourself locally and manually update the sources to use those instead.

Otherwise, I might turn the service back on; however, I will most likely keep it off.

make sure you have docker installed on your computer, then pull and run this image using the following commands:

docker pull riimuru/consumet-api
docker run -p 3000:3000 -e NODE_ENV=PROD riimuru/consumet-api

if you want to close your terminal and still have it running in the background you can add the --detached/-d argument

docker run -d -p 3000:3000 -e NODE_ENV=PROD riimuru/consumet-api

If you get an error that the port 3000 is already allocated, then you are most likely already running the server
You can always find the same info using the docker desktop window if it's easier to use for you.

Then, download this file Local.json and add the source by going to settings, clicking "Add New Source", and choosing "Add From File".

Hello, so I followed your steps and loads the app nicely but the issue arises when trying to watch a single episode, it just loads forever, when viewing on browser, works fine. Is there a fix to this or is there a way to change the streaming site to a different one?

hmm, for some reason I'm not having that problem. If you want to try switching sources by switching the route schema url, you can check the documentation here: https://docs.consumet.org/. To switch this in the app, you can edit the file you downloaded, delete it in the app and re-import it into the app.

For info, all info for the app uses the anilist route (meta -> anilist (anime) in the documentation). The only thing you have to change in the file I sent you are instances of providers from gogoanime to something else supported.
