Steam and BG3MM are having a custom argument

I've tried looking in a bunch of subreddits and search results but haven't seen anyone else with this issue. This is with Skip Launcher enabled but I still get the pop-up without it, with Steam just complaining about something else in particular. This happens whenever I launch the game from BG3MM. Any idea what I might have screwed up? Mods are functioning and my order seems to be working but dang I hate these pop-ups. Might there be a way to route the game through BG3MM using Steam's Launch Options to avoid this?

Don't know if the circumstances apply to yours but I got this after installing the ea app alongside another game and when I got rid of the ea app it went away with it

So this seems to happen if you pass along custom arguments when launching from Steam (from BG3MM). They added this popup at one point, as previously it wouldn't warn you about any launch args you pass to the game through Steam. You'll get the same popup if you were to make a steam shortcut for instance, and set the args in there (i.e. steam://rungameid/1086940/--skip-launcher).

You can get around it by unticking the "Skip Launcher" option in BG3MM, and adding --skip-launcher to Steam's launch options for BG3 (right click the game -> Properties, add --skip-launcher to the Launch Options area). Should have the same end result without Steam complaining about it every time.
