Regarding updates for mods on Nexus

Hey, don't know if it's been brought up, but the Stardrop Mod Manager for Stardew Valley has the ability to check if a mod has been updated on Nexus. Might be worth to check out how they accomplish this (I've no idea, and no programming knowledge...) https://github.com/Floogen/Stardrop

Actually, just read that it's providing the update checks via SMAPI (modding API for Stardew)

Maybe something like MO2's check for updates could work? I believe it uses the Nexus API for it.

Was about to ask the same thing, I was also used to Stardrop checking mod updates for Stardew Valley, which was extremely useful. I see now that Stardrop checks through Smapi, I hope we can have something similar in the future.

mod manager for xcom 2 does it and its how old, so i cant imagine its too difficult to implement. Nexus & Mod.io. this could be very handy for a person who goes away for a while or has many mods.
