Request: Handbook Improvements

It would be nice to have some improvements to the addbook, opening and closing the handbook and having it stay on the page you were on.
Add to crafting button, Cycle through varying items that can be used in craft by the mousewheel.
items displayed by category with sort options. Filter out options to filter out some items that you would not normally use in a game or a hide from handbook option.

Oh I like these ideas, a 'add to crafting' is something I really miss from Minecraft, looking at a recipe then closing it just to instantly forget and having to go to the item page again is pretty annoying.

Modifying interfaces already built into the game seems to be pretty hard, at least I am having trouble modifying the WorldMap dialogs, but I will see what I can do and try adding these as they are pretty helpful. Thanks!

Ok what about using the imgui to create a new "handbook" interface the way we want it. The vanilla handbook would still be there but you get the features implementation from the suggestion I added. It would need to be bound to a seperate key or maybe it opens with the same key not sure. Recipe bookmarks (possibility to show on HUD)

Also a "seek" function would be cool where it will let you know if you have an item in a nearby chest?

Maybe also adding a catch that if the bed a player sleeps in is already been used to set their spawn point (the current active spawn point) then it does not set the spawn point again. Implimented, Thank you

Another idea is a better sleep system, ie. User lays down in bed and their camera rotates to lying down and the body is not rotatable, they can look around and the camera rotates with the head movement? Might be too much though.

Online players with ping status, automatic closing doors, material calculator, death marker save on new death, biome spawns in for plants, animals etc, crop rotation planner.

Just a few more suggestions.
