Gimbal Lock during extraction

Hello!
I'm receiving a weird warning when extracting my particles after template matching.

/home/jgermain/miniforge3/envs/mosaic/bin/postprocess.py:727: UserWarning: Gimbal lock detected. Setting third angle to zero since it is not possible to uniquely determine all angles.
main()

I'm using pytme v0.3.3. When I extract as orientations, the normals seem to look fine. Not sure what this warning means.

Hi Jason,

This warning is nothing to worry about. It indicates that at least one of your identified orientations cannot be uniquely represented by Euler angles. In this case, the third angle is arbitrarily set to zero, but the resulting Euler representation is still correct and identical to what was detected.
