Hi Valentin!
Hope you're doing well! We're really enjoying using Mosaic! We've been digging into some of the analysis tools built into Mosaic and we were wondering if its possible to add some functionality.

When running distance measurements, we are interested in comparing distance measurements from tomogram to tomogram but the coloring seems to always be relative on the tomogram itself. We were wondering if its possible to add the option to make the color scaling an absolute scale? Say set the min and max color to our values of interest to make it easier to compare tomogram to tomogram.

Also, we were wondering if its possible to export some of the analysis data in a more wholistic/raw way? Say in the case of the distance measurements, could we export the xyz points from our clusters of interest to a csv for more complex downstream analysis?

Hi Jason, thanks for your kind words :) I am sure both of these features can be implemented.

Currently, coloring is always relative to the selected objects. So you could load data from all tomograms and only display relevant parts, but I agree that this becomes impractical quickly. Would you always want to set the min/max value, or do you have more complex applications that require finer-grained control over the color scale?

I can include xyz positions in the data export for the next version. Until then, the order of points in the analysis data is equivalent to the order used in data export. So you could "Export As > Point Cloud > Any format > Single File checked" and concatenate the created file with your distance measurements.
