consider a search in the main left side menu

search would lead to a table that lists both the found orders (all ordered, received, etc.) as well as the inventory item (maybe with a "Category" column in the front) all in one table from where you can reorder (maybe not mark as ordered or received) or jump to the orders tab from a link? (might be overkill to make this possible)
