How to un-italicise lower case Greek?

Just as described in this [StackExchange problem](https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/633647), I want to set `\mu` as units in my x- and y-labels. However, I cannot find a way to use the upright `\mu` in `MathTeXEngine` and `Makie`. Any hints on how to use them?
