v1.2.0: add left/right scroll for variable list?

Currently, the window/frame that shows the list of variables has a fixed width. When a file contains variables with long names, the user might not be able to see the "type" column correctly. See sample screenshot below. Could we add a left/right scroll for that frame? @ayenpure

I think I got an understanding of what's going on. For me (on a MacBook Pro),

• the vertical scroll bar only shows up when I slide two fingers up and down on the touch pad;
• the horizontal scroll bar only shows up when I slide two fingers left and right on the touch pad.

If I'm focusing on typing text into the search box and am not touching the touch pad, then I don't see those bars (see screenshot below). Can we make the bars always visible? Thanks!
