v1.2.0: cross buttons for unloading variable groups not working properly?

In the screenshot below, there are colorful tabs near the top-left corner, each of which has a cross. I thought clicking on a cross would unload the corresponding groups of variables and make them disappear from the viewport. It looks like clicking those crosses would make those tabs disappear, but the individual views would remain in the view port. Could you check this on your side? @ayenpure
