Setting Up an Effective Feedback Loop for KTX GUARD

📢 Issue Objective: Set up a system that allows our user community to provide invaluable feedback, report issues, and suggest improvements to ensure the continual growth and refinement of KTX GUARD.

Tasks & Recommendations:

  1. 📝 Create a Dedicated Feedback Channel:

    • GitHub Issues: Make full use of GitHub's issue tracking. Encourage users to open an issue whenever they face a problem, have a query, or wish to suggest a feature. Ensure you have issue templates to guide the user in providing necessary details.

    • 💬 Discussion Forums: Enable the "Discussions" section on your GitHub repo. This allows users to ask questions, share tips, or discuss features without necessarily raising an issue.

  2. 🔍 Regular Feedback Surveys:

    • Launch periodic surveys to gather feedback on recent features, user experience, or areas of improvement. Tools like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey can be utilized for this purpose.
  3. 👂 Monitor Feedback and Respond:

    • Assign a person or team to actively monitor feedback and respond. Each piece of feedback, even if negative, is valuable. Swift responses show the community that their feedback is taken seriously.
  4. 📅 Changelog & Roadmap Updates:

    • As you implement suggestions or fix issues based on feedback, keep the changelog updated. This signals that the project is evolving based on community feedback.

    • Update the project's roadmap to include community-suggested features, thus indicating their voice has an impact.

  5. 🎁 Encourage Feedback through Incentives:

    • Consider incentives to encourage feedback. This could be badges for active contributors, mentions in release notes, or even tangible rewards for particularly insightful feedback.
  6. 🔄 Feedback Loop Review:

    • Periodically revisit your feedback loop. What's working well? What could be improved upon? Ensure it remains effective and relevant.

Outcome: By completing these tasks, KTX GUARD should have a robust feedback mechanism in place that drives innovation, addresses community concerns, and fosters an engaged user base. 🚀
