Version 4, new install no setup window.

Version 4.0.

New install, popup stating i need go through some steps to complete setup, after that the main window loads, but no settings window. Also all menu items remain disabled.

I have been in the middle of a major re-write for 8+ months. I can't guarantee the state of the 4.0 version since I haven't touched it for quite a while.

The initial run should have brought up a series (4+) of windows, one after the other. After that the app should exit. The next run should just work. You may need to run it using the "run as administrator" context menu (right click). If it didn't even start to run the initial setup that's what I'd try first. I've never had that initial setup not work in testing on several computers personally or have had that reported to me.

The app startup process is dependent on the completion of the basic setup. It is true that without that basic setup the application won't run at all (menus are disabled, etc.).

At this point I'm reluctant to spend a lot of time debugging the 4.0 version since that distracts me from the next release. Things have changed so much between 4.0 and what I'm working on now that I'd need to shift a lot of gears to get back into it. Sorry about that.

I confirm the same problem. I can’t install versions 3 and 4, the program menu is locked.
Tested on clean Windows 10.

I have been largely off the app for about a year due to some health problems. At this point I should probably make it private until I can update it.

I have started work on it again, and I do have quite a few offline changes. However, there are some major changes/additions I am working on, so I don't know how quickly I can implement them. I'd guess it will be 2 to 4 months until I can get things functional.
