Investigate the possibility of mapping FreeCAD Materials to GDML Materials. #155
Description
When the workbench was started back in FreeCAD 0.13 time frame, the only materials that existed was for FEM and Arch workbenches.
FreeCAD subsequently decided to implement a new Materials system, we gave details of our requirements but the new system does not meet the needs for GDML, so for GDML Materials you have to use the workbench facilities.
It is unfortunate that there are now for us confusing ways of setting a objects Material and whilst the same name. GDML Materials have to be set via an GDMLObjects property or using the GDML Workbenches SetMaterial toolbar or Command.
GDML materials being Nuclear in natures rather than Engineering or Architecture have quite different properties and definition. We also have the requirement to be a able to support import of GDML Material definitions, which the new FC Material facility does not allow us to easily do.
