Booting KaOS from ISO image does not work

The last working version is KaOS-2022.08-x86_64.iso, while the next version KaOS-2022.10-x86_64.iso no longer works. I am attaching screenshots.

Please don't use 2+ year old ISOs, that is not supported in a rolling distribution like KaOS.
Report on the September 20204 ISO, see if you can replicate.

Also, include all the needed info as asked in https://kaosx.us/docs, especially what is used to create the live media.

Report as is will be closed shortly, since no support will be given for an ISO from 2022.

Sorry for the mistake, I forgot to write that starting with KaOS-2022.10-x86_64.iso all versions do not boot, including the latest KaOS-2024.09-x86_64.iso

The change that prevented the computer from booting from ISO occurred between version 2022.08 and 2022.10

I am able to successfully boot from KaOS-2024.09-x86_64.iso after manually modifying kdeosiso.img and replacing

live-uefi/live-iso/hooks/kdeosiso_loop_mnt

Line 26 in 67cff3b

losetup ${_dev_loop} /img_dev/${img_loop}

with
losetup -P ${_dev_loop} /img_dev/${img_loop}

... but that's not the reason why it stopped booting in 2022...

This is about using a KaOS created ISO, but booting from a harddrive, not from USB.
Harddrive booting has never been supported or tested, but it seems it used to work anyway.

There is no need to use external programs - GRUB is sufficient

Can we add the -P switch to the kdeosiso_loop_mnt file before closing? Since everything is working - there will be another possibility of booting the system
