Hyprspace not expanding desktop back up, apps flashing. Windows shrink indefinately

When opening hyprspace, windows shrink down and never grow back.
OS: Omarchy (arch+hyprland)

same issue, the toggle makes it shrink down only, and stays down even after closed
on hyprland 0.53.0

I'm also seeing this issue. Tried plugin:overview:affectStrut = false but saw the same behavior.
