Track cache of config is incomplete after extension #131
Description
Since extension comes with it's own config object, the cache is incomplete after extension. A better option is to not cache the config: its authoritative source is outside the fit, it shouldn't contain any parameter needed after execution of the fit. This could be a disruptive change.
